2020 World's Greatest Horseman - Deadline Reminders

Wednesday, February 12
    •    Move-in begins 8am CST - no exceptions
    •    please be understanding of the limited turnover time the facility has between events
    •    RVs and campers will NOT have access to the Red Lot (spaces next to covered pavilion) on this day. Must park in another lot for the night.
    •    Last day to add Level One or Novice Horse to an existing Open Derby entry

Thursday, February 13
    •    RVs and campers may move to the Red Lot (spaces next to covered pavilion)
    •    Last day to add Amateur division to an existing Non Pro Derby entry

Friday, February 14
    •    Valentine's Day - Don't say we didn't remind you. Make your arrangements early.

Monday, February 17
    •    Last day to purchase Year End Banquet tickets - only $10.00 - click here for order form

Wednesday, February 19
    •    Exhibitors may pick up tickets from the show office

Friday, February 21
    •    All exhibitor tickets must be picked up from the show office by Noon

Important Information

RV Hook Ups
The Red RV lot (closest to covered pavilion) will not be available on Wednesday, February 12. If you wish to camp in this lot, you will need to find a different location for the night and move to the Red RV lot on Thursday. No reservations are accepted. Camping spots are first come, first serve and handled through the facility. Upon arrival, please locate your desired camping spot. The parking lot attendant will meet you at your location, collect payment and unlock the electrical box.

Exhibitor Tickets
Each horse entered in the Derby, World Championships and World's Greatest Youth Horseman will receive 1 general admission ticket. Each horse entered in the World's Greatest Horseman will receive 2 general admission tickets. This general admission ticket will get you into the exhibitor seating section (West end of the John Justin/above where the cattle are turned out) or standing room only. The exhibitor seating section is first come, first serve - no saving seats. Exhibitor tickets must be picked up at the show office by Noon on Friday, February 21. Exhibitor tickets will not be available after this time. A limited number of standing room only tickets will be released at Noon on Saturday, February 22, through the box office located at the West end of the John Justin. The show office does not sell tickets.

Required Health Documents
All horses, in state and out-of-state, are required to have a negative Coggins within 12 months and 10 day health certificate. You must present these items at the show office to your receive your number and exhibitor ticket. No exceptions.

Canadian Horses
A note from NRCHA Official Veterinarian Dr. Joe Carter:
In regards to exhibitors and horses traveling from Canada, as of 2/6/2020 the USDA has informed us that everything will be “normal” to get horses back into Canada. We will require the same testing, current coggins test (within 6 months), a piroplasmosis test (which will be drawn at the show) and a CFIA permit issued by Canada, please contact Alli (512)318-4021 for questions, and setting up appointments for blood draws. Please bring all paperwork when you come for your appointment. The last day for blood draws will be 2/17/20. Thank you so much and we look forward to seeing you at the 2020 Celebration of Champions in Fort Worth, Texas.

A final stall chart and list will be posted outside the show office in John Justin. You can also access your stall location online. Upon arrival, you will need to contact the stall manager to have your stalls unlocked.

The WRMC Shavings Office is located in the Burnett building.This office is open 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily and requires separate payment, so please plan accordingly. After-hours bedding is not available. Pre-bed orders are no longer being accepted.

The facility does not sell hay. Russell Feed will be set up on grounds. You can make arrangements with Russell Feed & Supply to have your feed order delivered. Call 817.626.8452 or click here to email.

The WRMC is a paid parking facility. You may purchase a $10/day parking pass at the gate or purchase a $5 multi-day parking pass at the gate. There is no trailer parking inside the show grounds, unless you are showing out of your trailer for the daily. All dropped trailers will be parked in the Harley lot, and the cost is $5/day.

Show Office Check-in
The Show Office is located in the John Justin and will open Wednesday, February 12 at 8:00 a.m. When checking in, please bring required health documents, a form of payment and be sure to double check your entries/divisions.

Cattle Practice
The practice pen (located in the Multi-Purpose Building) will open starting Thursday, February 13 , at 6:00 a.m. for priority works and remain open daily. Both herd and fence practice will be available on appropriate days.

Year End Banquet
The Year End Banquet will be held on Friday, February 21, at 7:30 p.m. in the Round Up Inn, located on the show grounds. Tickets are $10 and must be purchased through the show office by Monday, February 17.

NRCHyA Community Service
The NRCHyA - National Reined Cow Horse Youth Association has selected the Fort Worth HOPE Center to be the recipient of their community outreach program. While packing your trailer for the 2020 NRCHA Celebration of Champions load up a few canned goods to help fight hunger!

The Fort Worth HOPE Center "fights hunger and feeds hope" in the Dallas/Fort Worth area by helping people who live in low income communities have a "place to go for HOPE". HOPE for finding food to feed their families, and HOPE for developing vocational skills and certifications which allow them to find meaningful employment and become self-sufficient.

Youth exhibitors, bring a minimum of 10 can goods to the Youth Meeting on Friday, February 21. Stall reimbursements will be given to youth who donate 10 can goods and attended the meeting.
