Cannabidiol—commonly known as CBD oil—is now classified as a Class 2 drug by the Association of Racing Commissioners International. As such, it is considered a forbidden substance by APHA and is prohibited for use in horses competing in APHA-approved events, per rule SC-085.C.1 in the APHA Rule Book.

However despite his side’s overwhelming success, Canadian Chef d’Equipe Mark Laskin said, “it was a bit bittersweet. It’s great to win here, especially on our home field, but there were two parts to this equation. The first part we took care of, but the second part we just missed” he pointed out.
Foutrier Seals Longines Win for France in Swiss Thriller
June 03, 2019The reigning Olympic champions from France gritted their teeth and galloped to victory in the edge-of-the-seat Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ of Switzerland at St Gallen (SUI) today, where a feisty Italian foursome claimed runner-up spot and the host nation, clear favourites at the outset, had to settle for third.
The CSI4* 1m55 Grand Prix, the final highlight of this weekend at the Hubside Jumping, the international show jumping competition organised in the Ecuries du Golfe de Saint-Tropez, in Grimaud (Var), boasting prize money of 100, 000 euros, was won by the regional rider Romain Dreyfus.
Here we go again! Tomorrow, riders from twenty nations will come together at the Ecuries du Golfe de Saint-Tropez in Grimaud, in the heart of the French Riviera, for the HUBSIDE JUMPING. The major names in international show jumping will try to follow in the footsteps of Patrice Delaveau and Guillaume Foutrier, the winners of last month’s HUBSIDE JUMPING SPRING TOUR. Free entry.
The Derby of the European Reined Cow Horse Association (ERCHA) was held in Cremona, from the 22nd to the 25th may 2019. The show was hosted by the international horse fair called ‘Salone del Cavallo Americano’, and was entirely judged by Manuela Maiocchi. The show is an aged event, reserved to 4 and 5 year old horses.
Czechowicz and CSG Magnifique Gun clinch the first IRHA Open Derby Championship for Poland!
May 26, 2019The 67.000-added euro IRHA/NRHA Open Derby finals wrapped up the 2019 edition the show open 4-, 5-, 6-, and 7-year old horses. Once the last horse-rider combination left the show arena, three of the four Open Championships were conquered by two European professionals in their early 20s: Lucasz Czechowicz of Poland and Nico Sicuro of Italy.
Daniel Bluman made history when posting Israel’s first-ever victory in the €400,000 Rolex Grand Prix at CSIO Rome Piazza di Siena today. From a starting field of 44 horse-and-rider combinations, the 29-year-old rider was one of only four to jump clear in the first round. And with the fastest zero score in round two he carved his name onto the prestigious Roll of Honour that dates all the way back to 1926, thanks to a brilliant performance from his 11-year-old gelding, Ladriano Z.
Worldwide Youth Win in Cremona!
May 26, 2019An amazing 19 countries were represented in the inaugural NRHA/IRHA/RHF Global Youth Reining Cup: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, France, Great Britain, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Paraguay, Poland, Spain, Thailand, Uruguay, and USA. The event took place in Cremona, Italy, during the IRHA Derby and on Saturday morning the spotlight was on the 19 riders that rode for their country’s flag. Though competition was heartfelt, the spirit that filled the air during the week was camaraderie, joy and pride in being part of the very first edition of the Cup!
