On Saturday, May 25, 2019 the inaugural NRHA Category 11 approved Invitational Global Youth Reining Cup will be held during the Italian Reining Horse Association (IRHA) Derby. CremonaFiere will once again be host to the IRHA Derby held in conjunction with the Salone del Cavallo Americano.

Holds Swiss compatriot Fuchs back into second, Sweden’s Fredricson finishes third.

The final day of competition was deep at the South Point Arena and Equestrian Center. On Saturday, April 6, the National Reined Cow Horse Association Stallion Stakes Open and Non Pro champions were crowned, along with finalizing the horse show class winners. They say it all comes down to the fence work and the Stakes Finals was no exception. Excitement filled the arena as Open and Non Pro posted large scores.

The National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) Euro 162.200-added European Futurity Open Finals closed the eleventh edition of the prestigious event held, for the third year running, in Cremona.

The very last horse-rider-combination to enter the show arena in Cremona tonight wore the first 2019 National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) European Futurity Champion crown: Gina Schumacher and Colonels Danger Zone. The young German rider, a multiple past NRHA Non Pro World Champion, had written her name in the books on the first day of competition after posting the highest score in the Level (L)4 Non Pro go-round aboard her second mount, Shiney Dun Face. On finals night, riding Colonels Danger Zone (Lil Gun x Step Un And Play), aka ‘Nils,’ Schumacher closed her run with a 217 to clinch the title.

When yesterday’s first-round winner, Switzerland’s Steve Guerdat, said today’s second competition at the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final 2019 in Gothenburg (SWE) would shake up the leaderboard, he wasn’t wrong. A single mistake tonight sees him go into Sunday’s two-round title-decider lying third on the leaderboard, but only two points behind Spain’s Eduardo Alvarez Aznar at the head of affairs and a single point behind Peder Fredricson who set the Swedish crowd alight with a sensational home victory this evening.

The Run for a Million will be the richest event in the history of western equine sports. Hosted by the prestigious South Point Arena and Equestrian Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, the event will take place August 15–17, 2019. Twelve riders, including some of the most accomplished NRHA professionals, will compete for a purse of $1,000,000.
