Second Week of the Hubside Jumping: The Ladies Take Centre Stage!

Will they be able to triumph in the Grand Prix this week? During the second week of the HUBSIDE JUMPING and after a resoundingly masculine edition in April, a strong feminine delegation is taking command of the French Riviera event. A show, a performance, a free 4-day demonstration at the highest level, where women compete against their male counterparts on an equal footing.

The male riders are currently dominating the HUBSIDE JUMPING’s roll of honour, but the line-up of this second week of competition may well shake things up. Normandy’s FОlicie Bertrand  will be among the feminine stars expected in the big ring of the renovated Ecuries Golfe de Saint-Tropez. France’s new sweetheart, the second-best French lady rider in the World Rankings, the winner of the Grands Prix of the CSI 3* of Montpellier and the CSI 5* of Bordeaux at the beginning of the year, is coming back to Grimaud with her incredibly fast Sultane des Ibis and will be a force to be reckoned with. She will head up a French delegation which will include among others, the rider from the Nord department, Nicolas Delmotte , who contributed to the French team’s victory in the Nations Cup in St Gallen, who has jumped up sixteen places in the World Rankings this month, Olivier Perreau , from RhЩne-Alpes, whom the HUBSIDE JUMPING’s courses suit perfectly, in light of the many placings at the Golfe de Saint Tropez’s competitions, as well as Thierry Rozier , exceptional last month at the 5* CSIO de France in La Baule. Switzerland’s Janika Sprunger , one of the pillars of the Swiss team in recent years, as well as the Longines ambassador Jane Richard Philips , will come face to face with FОlicie and her French fellow riders.
Let's also mention the young Tressy Muhr , who feels very at home when she rides at the Ecuries du Golfe de Saint- Tropez: the Israeli rider grew up here, before the renovation work of the site was undertaken by the international rider and successful businessman, Sadri Fegaier , who is also competing at the show this weekend. The CSI 4*, CSI 2* and CSI 1* riders representing twenty-one nations, will ride the courses created by GОrard Lachat, the international course designer from Switzerland.
