The deadline for the $80,000-added AustrianRHA Futurity & NRHA Show 2019 is appoaching: July 1.  Austria’s premier reining show is scheduled for August 21 until 24 at the favility of WTC H&D Schulz QH in Wiener Neustadt. The event offers a guaranteed money of $10,000 each for the Level 4 Open Futurity Champion of the 3-year-old horses and the 4-year-old horses. More than $500,000 was paid out to rodeo athletes today as the World Champions Rodeo Alliance (WCRA) concluded their $500,000 semi-finals rounds in Guthrie, Oklahoma at the Lazy E Arena. The five-day event paid out more than $500,000 to cowboys and cowgirls from around the globe and out of more than 500 athletes, 76 athletes from the semi-finals advanced to the Title Town Stampede, a one-day $1 Million Major Rodeo June 1 at Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Draw 25 in a field of 36 finalists in the second section of the NRBC Open Classic finals, Jason Vanlandingham and his 2018 National Reining Horse Association Futurity Champion A Vintage Smoke marked a scorching 227.5. Three horses later, Nathan Piper and Patriot, also rode to a 227.5 and, for the first time in the NRBC’s history, two riders would opt to share the Level 4 Open Championship, with each taking home $63,000.

Some 1500 people were present for the consecration of the new winners of the FEI Vaulting World Cup Final in Saumur 2019. Olivier Philippaerts (BEL) and Cataleya 3 gave a new definition to the word speed in a thrilling twelve rider jump-off today at the Longines Global Champions Tour of Miami Beach.
Olivier and his bay mare pulled out all the stops in the €93.500 class, finishing just ahead of Ben Maher (GBR) with Don Vito and Bertram Allen (IRL) with Izzy By Picobello in a nail-biting showdown of some of the world’s top international riders.
