‘Spotlight’
Matyas Gobert of Belgium showed Southern Voodoo (NRHA Two Million Dollar Sire Shiners Voodoo Dr x Footworks For Me), a stallion bred by Jolien Rottiers, to lead the L2 go round with a 219. “He was bred at home and I liked the way he moved from day one. I trained him and his great personality always shone through. He’s special and very athletic,” said Gobert. “He is out of a mare I made the Futurity finals on—who we just sold to a friend that would like to continue breeding her—and even though plans were not to sell him, we eventually did earlier this year to one of our customers, SV Quarter Horses, who plan on keeping him in training with me.
