The big winner of the round was Casey Deary, who qualified all three of his entries back to the finals. Not only that, all three were in the top eight, with Gunnabeabrightstar besting the field with a 225.
Gunnabeabrightstar, by ARC Gunnabeabigstar out of Abbie Be Tuff, is owned by Neiberger Performance Horses LLC. The four-year-old stallion added an additional $13,816 to his lifetime earnings with his preliminary win.

Taking top honors in the Open Level 3 is Kole Price on Ruf Style Of Play with a 221. Ruf Style Of Play, by Not Ruf At All and out of UB Stylin With Me, is owned by Axel Bouchner. Price and Ruf Style Of Play also finished in a tie for 12th in the Level 4, and won $5,162.

Cody Sapergia and Chicowhiz marked a 220.5 to top the Level 2 and qualify for the Level 3 and 4 finals, winning $3,309. Chicowhiz, owned by LaRizzi Corporation, is by Smart Chic Olena and out of Whizicle.

With scores of 218, Emily Emerson and Debbie Brown tied for the lead of the Level 1. Emerson teamed up with Penny Whize, owned by Susan Geiger, who is by Shine On Line and out of Easy Whiz My Money. The pair also qualified for the Level 2 and 3 finals.

Brown and A Whizard Dream, owned by David Silva, not only topped the Level 1 with the 218, they are also in the top spot of the Open Prime Time with a 221 (includes handicap). In addition to that, they'll be competing for a piece of the purse in both Levels 2 and 3. A Whizard Dream is by Magnum Chic Dream and out of Miss Poco Whizard.

The Development Division Championship is awarded to the highest scoring Developing Horse in the preliminary round, and Marie Kleiner and This Gun Works topped the division with a 217.5. The Developing Division paid $6,101 for the win. Kleiner and This Gun Works will be competing for even more money in the finals, as they earned a spot for Levels 1, 2, and 3. This Gun Works, by Gunners Tinseltown and out of Reminic At Work, is owned by Jennifer Greenleaf.

It took a 219.5 to make the Open Level 4 finals, while a 217.5 was the magic number for the Level 3. Level 2 exhibitors marking a 215 or better will advance to the finals, as will Level 1 riders with a 208.5 or higher. In the Prime Time, a score of 210.5 (with handicap) was the bubble.

Draw positions for Saturday's Finals were decided during the Virtual Tamarack Ranch Open Draw Party on Thursday evening.
