DQHA: The Amendment of the Statute Has Been Notarized – the Data Share Agreement Has Been Signed. The Way To Rejoin the Aqha Is Clear Now!

It’s finally done: on August 18 at 12 a.m., the new DQHA President Thomas Dixon signed the amendment of the statute for the German Quarter Horse Association before a notary. So that, from now on, the "AQHA Breeding Stud Book" will be kept as guideline instead of the previously used ”Original Breeding Stud Book ".

A little later, Dixon made his way to the office to sign the Data Share Agreement. This clears the way for reconnection as an affiliate of the American Quarter Horse Association .
"I’m very happy that everything could be set up so quickly in the interest of all our members”, said Dixon. "Besides the conversion to the AQHA Stud Book, the statute will remain intact for the moment . A further revision will then be presented at the General DQHA Meeting next year. Now ,only the details of the breeding program have to be coordinated with the Bavarian State Agency for Agricolture ( LfL )”.
